For normal to mildly dry skin, regular cetomacrogol or lanette cream without added vaseline is sufficient. For dry to very dry skin, a cream with added vaseline (greasy cream) or an ointment is a better option. Use the greasy cream or ointment at least twice a day.

In addition to the variant with 20% vaseline, Cetomacrogol Cream is also available with 10% or 50% vaseline. The variant with 10% added vaseline is suitable for normal to dry skin, and the variant with 50% added vaseline is for very dry skin.

Fagron Cetomacrogol Cream with 10, 20, or 50% vaseline is formulated without the preservative propylene glycol to prevent hypersensitivity reactions. These variants are preserved with sorbic acid.

Cetomacrogol Cream with 20% vaseline is recommended as basic skincare. It can support, but not replace, medical treatment.
