Selsun is no longer available in the Netherlands. This anti-dandruff shampoo no longer seems to be of interest to the manufacturer.

Selsun Shampoo
The active ingredient in Selsun shampoo is selenium sulfide. Selenium sulfide is very effective against dandruff, itchy scalp (seborrheic dermatitis), and yeast or fungal infections (pityriasis versicolor). Selenium sulfide inhibits sebum production in the scalp, which reduces dandruff.

Selenium sulfide is also effective against certain fungi and yeasts, making Selsun an effective anti-dandruff and anti-fungal shampoo.

Alternative Selsun
Dermasence Selensiv Shampoo is a medicated shampoo with an active ingredient, selenium sulfide, which is effective against dry, flaky dandruff. Moisturizing ingredients also prevent dehydration.
