Simplex Basic Ointment is suitable for dry skin. The Vaseline in this ointment provides a higher fat content and covers the skin. It contributes to the protection of the skin, causing the skin to release less water and become hydrated. Paraffin ensures good spreadability. This makes the ointment particularly suitable for the thin, vulnerable skin of the eyelids, eyebrows and mucous membranes.
Unless otherwise prescribed, apply twice a day. You can use the ointment for as long as you need it.
