Fagron Simplex Basic Ointment is suitable for very vulnerable, dry skin. This easily spreadable ointment is particularly suitable for the thin and vulnerable skin of the eyelids, eyebrows, mucous membranes and older skin.
The Vaseline in this ointment provides a higher fat content and covers the skin. It contributes to the protection of the skin, causing the skin to release less water and promoting the skin's moisture-retaining capacity. Added paraffin ensures good spreadability.

Simplex basic ointment will hardly cause side effects. Very rarely, sensitivity reactions and irritation of the skin may occur due to one of the components of the ointment. Simplex basic ointment contains the ingredient wool fat (lanolin). If an allergy to wool fat has been diagnosed by a healthcare professional, it is advisable not to use the Simplex basic ointment. An allergy to wool grease can be recognized by an itchy, red rash; sometimes there are also bumps, blisters and flaking.
